POSITION SUMMARY 

The Workday Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for providing expert technical guidance and solutions within our ERP and Workday environment. The role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Workday, system integrations, security frameworks, and post-production support.  

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Technical Expertise & Problem Solving: Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve intricate business problems, ensuring alignment with our current application inventory and ERP implementation.  

  • Advanced Reporting: Develop and maintain advanced custom reports, BIRT templates, and other reporting integrations within Workday 

  • Integration Oversight: Offer direction and review of all integrations, including Studio integrations. Ensure seamless data flow and connection between systems.  

  • Security Management: Uphold, design, and implement a robust security control framework and architecture for our extensive ERP system.   

  • Training & Development: Coach and train the team on appropriate procedures, controls, and best practices.  

  • Risk Management: Continuously assess ITGC risks, finding resolutions or escalating critical issues to Senior Leadership.  

  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and act on opportunities for system and process enhancements within our current systems and the ERP Implementation scope.  

  • System Administration: Provide consistent system administration and support, ensuring stringent internal controls are applied and followed.  

  • Project Management: Lead and manage large scale system projects aimed at system optimization and efficiency.  

  • Strategic Direction: Furnish strategic advice to functional leaders regarding process enhancement and reporting tactics.  

  • Cross-Functional Support: Manage accounting operations special requests, facilitating cross-functional tasks and objectives 

  • Integration Management: Develop and sustain integrations between financial systems, ensuring system functionality and precise reporting.  

  • Enhancement Support: Direct and aid in process improvements and reporting augmentations.  

  • Case Management: Oversee and manage support cases specifically for Workday Financials.  

  • Special Project Leadership: Spearhead intricate special projects, which includes scoping, planning, comprehensive testing, configuration, special team development, data conversion, and control documentation.  

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.  

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Workday, especially in Financials.  

  • Extensive experience in ERP system security, integration, implementation, and post-production support.  

  • Strong understanding of ITGC risks.  

  • Proven track record in leading large scale projects.  

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.  

 

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS 

  • Workday certification.  

  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.  

  • Familiarity with global operations and multi-currency environments.
