POSITION SUMMARY 

Radiology Partners is hiring a Payroll Specialist who will be focusing on processing and maintaining payroll information for our nationwide practices.  Multi-State, Multi-Company (30), Semi-monthly and Monthly payroll cycles. 

 
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Accurately keys all payroll related data necessary to process payroll (i.e. adjustments, new hires, etc.) 

  • Ensure compliance with all garnishment and support orders including Federal, State, and Local tax   withholding 

  • Responsible for balancing payroll runs and ensuring all compliance reports are prepared and fully reconciled 

  • 401k loan monitoring/data entry/ data audit  

  • Provides support in the Quarter/Year-End process and/or audits as requested by business units and HR/Finance 

  • Data entry adjustments for all time & attendance, and personnel transactions 

  • Validate/audit hours from timekeeping system 

  • Prepare and create standard and ad-hoc reports 

  • Process wage garnishments 

  • Process correspondence from various governmental agencies 

  • Ensure prompt identification and resolution to potentially complex payroll issues  

  • Prepare and send required information to internal and external recipients as required 

  • Perform standard control procedures and maintain payroll related records 

  • Assist employees/physicians with payroll related questions   

  • Help to establish policies that can improve the payroll processes 

  • Communicates with a variety of internal (IT, HR, Benefits, Fin Ops and local sites) and as well as external parties (Federal, State, and local agencies, etc.) to ensure accurate processing of payroll deductions 

  • Special projects as requested 

  • Works closely with Human Resources, Accounting, and Finance 

  • Worker’s Compensation Reporting & Compliance 

 

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • 3+ years of professional experience  

  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent time management skills in order to successfully meet established deadlines 

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Must be able to multi-task without sacrificing quality of work 

  • FPC or CPP certification preferred

The hourly range for this position is $x-x.
