Position Summary Greensboro Radiology is a highly subspecialized private practice group with 77+ radiologists in central North Carolina. As we continue to grow into new markets, we are seeking a NP/PA to work within the department. The Greensboro Radiology mission is to lead radiology excellence through personalized and compassionate care. We have demonstrated this commitment to quality and service by implementing a single PACS/voice recognition environment throughout the areas we serve (our regional timeline). This unified radiology platform employs a subspecialty workflow solution and dedicated emergency radiology section to deliver subspecialty care around the clock and supports our radiologists with 24/7 Concierge reading room assistants and strong IT support. Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and inpatient rounding. Schedule patients for procedures including pre-authorizations, working with other facilities to coordinate procedures as needed, processing orders, sending reports back to referring doctors Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies Perform or assist procedures such as: paracentesis and thoracentesis Perform image guided IV access Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes, Perform history and physical examinations of radiology patients Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses and other health care professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of the patients. Educate patients on their medical care Other duties as assigned

Graduate of an AMA program Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the North Carolina Board of Nursing BLS AND ACLS certification required
